Barometers? I love them. Wood and brass, watching the rise and fall. Smelling the air and feeling the pressure.

Forecasting like my grandfather did. Looking at the sky, reading the air drop, and knowing what is coming the day after tomorrow.

While he did not need his barometer to tell the weather, he did use one. I do think he could smell weather however.

Now as a grown man of 50 I try to do the same. The interest in Granda's magical barometer, has led me to sell barometers (www.silver2love.com)  and a life long local weather obsession.
