Humberside Airport just record 47 mph gust

been rattle front door and our veranda for a bit. Noticable east coast from donna nook to whitby been getting 20-40 gusts. We had it start up 5 pm its just slowly winding up strongest 32 mph here.

Thanks Nick F worrying if true. Lightening wizard has convection gust some are up to 80 85 and even 90 kt. Not expert bit newbie myself with this but you can check the charts on the main website Just use chart type locate UK wind gusts. You will get a general indication wind speeds predicted and rough time frame. Sorry cant help more. http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=nwdc;sess= ps by the way welcome to the forum.

Paul with some areas now orange is it sign slight downgrade. EstoFex got warning out level 1 south of England and limited risk of deep moist convection. No shame had to search DMC so hope I got it right. else http://www.estofex.org/

What John says will put my area in firing line. Liam latest pic's of possible wind speeds makes me nervous. Glad the track not nailed but do think its likely we are in for a ride here.

I can hear it whistling in north sea not to bad here worst was 50 mph this morning and 35 mph during the day -
The closer this gets little change more get scared what will happen. Not going great in big highrise with gusts 88 mph.

If the models right this sitting and effecting things right into 16th before heading towards the continent. Hours of strong winds for the effected areas if it comes off.
