  1. thanks for this suprised met not updated unless they unsure the area impact. can ask silly question where I live we have 2 highrise including ours but gaps to east where I see the sea no obsticle until europe and to west gap 25 yards where no obsticle until hit linc wolds for the wind. At 6th floor could wind be higher than ground level.
  2. humberside reporting a gust 21.1 m/s now this not constant more the odd crazy gust but if this keeps happening worried maybe some serious odd gusts.
  3. stopped raining heavy wind gradualy increasing 18.5 m/s gusts
  4. rain very heavy now cant see the coastline from flat its that heavy
  5. thanks rjbw that good news rain not to bad but still getting gusts
  6. wonder if us on east coast still slight get effected by Tini
  7. this been posted beeb live watch latest flood risks. Any bigger pic there looking quite big area of river under theat now. http://news.bbcimg.co.uk/media/images/72993000/jpg/_72993562_0e94a565-1ffc-40af-b63d-0344fb9d2925.jpg
  8. according to earth wind currents we got winds splitting left and right winds coming from europe wonder if this could possibly causing micro bursts. Upto 17.5 m/s now here. http://earth.nullschool.net/#current/wind/surface/level/orthographic=-0.31,53.02,1818
  9. humberside reporting 17m/s so we getting 40mph gusts at present EML http://weatherspark.com/#!dashboard;ws=28735
  10. thanks update wow we going get alot 60+mph winds Started hammering with rain here now.
  11. not so sure we have got in my location expected 63mph gusts at midnight to about 3am according xcweather.
  12. oh my bad my mistake Whats currently predicted for my location at present. We was expected get small burn around midnight. Reading fire service from stamford in berkshire. Would assume they can be recalled if south lincolnshire get it bad or another service will cover stamford.
  13. the london shard might be issue reading this article built to withstand upto only 32mph. Surely they built it with climate change in mind this goto be joke. http://www.standard.co.uk/news/london/video-shard-worker-caught-in-high-winds-terror-went-straight-back-to-work-after-a-cuppa-7905469.html
  14. tornado watch too which not suprising from what saw with that small cloud. Stay safe everyone.
  15. thanks for these maps everyone makes it so much cleaner easier to look impact of hospots. Wonder how much coastal erosion will cause this time. This forcast swell.
  16. yep that blob over scandinavia come across us very breezy nasty black cloud small but gave tad taster. Was some down drafts rotation within it. Any chance this got tornado potential. What was suprising it did not rain despite potential throw it big. So has the rain side been over estimated a little. I thought we was going get away from this but on track to fly straight at me later. Though hope sting out of it abit. Shame it will be dark to see the EYE.
  17. would love to see met follow this way enepret threat of wind. thank you weathermaster mets often too cluttered.
  18. checked up we got 25.7 m/s 7pm roughly sustained until 8pm remember being worried at time then slightly less 25.2 m/s 8pm then dropping so not quite 70mph strong enough here drop huge tree peoples park onto van that posted earlier. However this station leeming more closer that recorded 67mph holbeach down south us 75mph. just think we need to look potential damage risk better way getting that risk out to people better. I saw people trying to walk with kids home from school could been alot worse as it started around 3pm here.
  19. question is is the traffic light system too vague actually very confusing. Sure this makes alot people complacent to dangers and perils. There should links to risk factor of existing issues. Like more rain in already flooded area. I think what often forgot they are dealing ordinary folks not scientist. Also believe need system in place like america dedicated weather system breaks into programmes locally warn of threats. Explain what to do etc. Have weather radio warning system. http://www.nws.noaa.gov/nwr/nwrrcvr.htm We also shown that disaster co-ordination is poor maybe this thing needs serious look at possible look at something like FEMA setup. On monday we was getting red zone right above us stayed withing the models predicted at 70+ never got amber watch which suprised me that met never changed the threat. That sting had more wind than when main event turned up later. Maybe need to review how we do warnings in future.
  20. I agree if there been one critism met warnings been poor and been slow to follow model predictions within 48 hours of the event. These events rare maybe been caught out little by its magnitude. What people think is better that its happening in weekend or a worry
  21. bold statement when if you look vid seems two firing off in the corner from US. Hope not michael fish moment for him.
  22. 25th ? it looks nasty one hopefully dont materialise
  23. thats my fear little time to assess batton down with temporary repairs. So could end up more damaging. I just hope this time media and government give storm respect. Just checked on beeb web our water levels normal generally with mist the winter hell until this storm and sat. Worry is tributaries to humber is on amber so this could be risk further down if get more rain. What risks if this rain continues to sinkholes increasing where would hotspots for risks be.
  24. thanks mapantz developing into quite worry this follows wednesday dragging winds again this got more potential be bigger threat. origionally track was more east.
