  1. I just made a calculation on this. 438.6 mm - 434.8 mm = 3.8 mm needed by end of 28 February to become the third wettest season. This is reachable if not very reachable with the rainfall of 25 February and any that as fallen on 26 February. It would be amazing to see the totals for the 25 February tomorrow to see how far off off the mark we are now.
  2. Has anyone got the latest figures on Reading to see if they have had the wettest season on record.
  3. I think Reading University has recorded the wettest winter on record. That was about the 18th I think. They were only around 5 mm of the wettest season on record. I think they have had that by now. I wonder want the latest figures are for there. I wouldn't be surprised if there was anoucement on that in the next couple of days.
  4. With more rain falling with only 3.2 mm needed. We must be very close to it now if not beaten it already. With a possible 5 mm coming Wednesday night and Thursday. I wouldn't be a bit surprised something will be annouced tomorrow or Friday by the met office or somebody.
  5. What was the rainfall statistics for February 15th 2014? Has the total overtaken the winter 1994/95?
  6. With the very wet spell we had since 2012 we are due for another dry spell. We haven't had a very dry summer nationwide to the level of 1976. 1984 or 1995 yet this century. I do think we are due one now. We had so many years were the summers have been very wet or record wet that it is time for a very dry one now.
