  1. Right. My OH is working in the UK until the middle of March. I went to the village shop on Monday and they had no Valentine cards. I have had no time to go to the city for weeks (where they do have cards) and didn't want to get a generic Hallmark one from Super U on the way back from one of my clients.

    I decided to use "Moonpig". I found a lovely dog-covered card, got rid of the text on the front to leave just "Happy Valentine's Day" and spent 3/4 of an hour yesterday evening composing a special little poem to go inside the card (my poems are a bit of a thing!).

    Have I done enough?

      Lassie - I know but his card landed in my mailbox on Monday and we're not together at the moment. It's another silly human invention/convention and I'd love to give up sending cards for anything - even making them is a waste of time when you can just talk to someone on their occasion. I guess I just wanted a little bond across the waves and a reminder that we were both (and Mylo of course) thinking of each other. Oh stop being a soppy female dog Spike...
