This year's streaming setup seems to be holding up pretty well in the difficult mobile zone that is the panhandle
well Paul,,,,ive been sitting here in S/W ..most of the time i watched....worried i go to UK next week.....but been averagebeing honrst
some timed irs been hrs unbroken...which i enjoy

Seriously.................if you want to get into storm chasing,,,,,,,,,,OR one day visit yourself....I CANNOT RECOMMENCEMENT These TOURS TO MUCH,,,,ITS BEYOND WHAT ITS FOR DONE FOR ME,,,Im now married in USA but i can tell you..i swear..Paul Bottem taught me the ropes of Tornadoes....IMM now a Tornado look out in South MO USA,,,,I CANNOT STRESS HOW I MISS THESES GUYS OF THE TOURS,,,,,ONE DAT WE WILL MEET

.currently you have the moisture being pinched between the cold pool line....if it can go advect north we are looking at a good chance of initiation that would would occur later..good steep lapse rates ...sticking to the western side to North side to capitalism on these soundings..this would be my bet....just my theory..still learning mode.....my tank would head further North/WQest

Yes I thought this after!I think he's hyping things up...On a good note we have just had our first tornado warning.Its extremely windy here and warm.I can see three cells linear in nature heading our way..Not to impressed to be honest but hey things might change.Thanks Dorset alsoEdit...13 tornado reports in illinoisHere in the news we have had several Mobile homes blown over fromDamaging winds.Ive seen two pictures that look like possible tornados in Missouri but have yet to be confirmed if they are or just large funnel clouds.Mainly here was loud thunder which was near constant but I personally didn't see a lot of lightning,the wind was impressive at times.No hail here just heavy pulses of rain.PatThe guy that posted that chart above is not a proper forecaster and scaremongers people on Facebook! I would not take any notice of any of his posts and certainly would not re-post them.Today is just a classic QLCS With embedded spin ups no worse than we get in the Uk, if you like gust fronts, whales mouth and lightning with shelf clouds and displaced trampolines and bins this is your set-up other than that a pretty worthless risk today.Just my two pence worth but would not even travel 5 miles for this.

I know the other night people lost power due to the ice storm,brought down power cables and trucks stranded on the highway due to freezing rain,made the roads look like sheets of glass.
Very impressed how the public services immediately work through the night here clearing roads.

Not as cold as Canadian coops...but yes....wish it was spring

Warnings of a possible ice storm here or heavy snow,could possibly take some power lines down or trees if we get the freezing rain.
At present just snow here no freezing rain,current temp-2 but feels like -7 according to my weather software.
Edit...wow ICE here.....road as gone into a sheet of ice under 5mins with moderate snow....
Never seen freezing rain like thisbefore

Seeing a tornado to me is the climax!
But to be honest Supercells are truly amazing also.
Never new such beauty existed until 2009 makes UK thunderheads very sad indeed.

That's a tricky one Paul,we are currently back in Bloomfield.But Chrissy's family are South Kansas City,currently looking at houses to buy from Topeka area South to Enid,Stillwater(OK)But My guess will be Kansas permanent,but so many houses to choose.My wife said so long as we have a storm shelter she is happy to move there.Got a lawyer appointment today,it depends on what he says on unconditional green card or Permanent green card.Either way its going to be renting or buying a permanent residence after May(school holidays)Kansas permanent I hope.With a English flag..let you know by then....After house have to meet up!:-) :-) :-)Yesterday looked at a house not far from cape geraduia,MOBut I said NOI Want to be in the firing line Kansas..lol...Yh what part of Kansas you living in Timmer ?? Would be good to know before we Jet out in 3 months time
