Hedge End weather watcher

The clouds are bubbling up to the north of us here in Hedge End - hope I can get the first bbq of the season out of the way before it rains

Some lovely cloud formations here in Hedge End and some mammatus clouds forming just now. Totally still atmosphere and humidity has increased noticeably

Very strong winds along the coast this afternoon cuts have contributed to keeping these storms a bit north of us in Portsmouth - an interesting skyline and possibly caught the back end of a weak funnel cloud to the north of ports down hill, looking towards Southwick

We are being treated to some great cloud formations this morning - I phone doesn’t reflect how good they are

Very still atmosphere but gone very humid here in Hedge End, my view looking south towards the Isle of Wight - some thunder rumbling around now

Any rain will do here!!

Just watching the cricket and although a faint image there’s what looks like a funnel cloud behind the main stand, I think this would have been looking south west

Very welcome rain here in Hedge End, we’ve had a good run of thunderstorms too this year, also a real trend of these types of storms later in the season! IMG_1985.MOV

We live in Hedge End and the rain has gone either side of us, last 24 hours less than 1mm of rain. I just hope we get some of the rain that is to the east of Portsmouth - literally desperate for rain!!

Just going through some of my pics from last night, prob my favourite was this one which was taken looking south west towards the western solent from Hedge End

Really good storm going over here in Hedge End, thought we’d be a loot too far west but it got strength just as it came across the solent, pretty constant lightning and strong gusts now IMG_0075.MOV

Really pleased with the show we have here in Hedge End - system to the south west and direct south over Isle of Wight. Just hope for some rain too, but may miss us! IMG_0062.MOV
