    Here in Surrey weirdly it’s felt like the last week of August for the last 3 and a bit weeks !! It’s been a poor month however you view it here !

    Yesterday was ghastly but today has been really pleasant this afternoon 24c a solid typical summers day !

    It was actually better last Saturday it was no where near as wet and was warmer despite the gales !

    We do well in the south east generally with a light NW flow it’s felt almost like an old school perfect summers day here in Surrey !

    Can you just cancel your package holiday / reservations anyway because it’s too hot without loosing your money / deposit ..? Seems strange !

    How can you prefer the climate of somewhere you have never been ? Australia also doesn’t have a single climate there are huge differences across the country which is in many ways a continent !

    Can agree - we drove up from Surrey to visit our old stomping ground of Keswick it’s been really cool today briefly touching 16c most of the day around 13c - but you make the most of it and everywhere seems really busy !
