  1. Having had a good read of the model forum I can report that I have no clue whatsoever what is going to happen over the next few weeks. Looks like a cold week ahead for us, some rain, some sun, some cold nights......no white stuff
  2. Nought here at all.....last nights freeze was melted off before 6am. Cold day ahead with metO extending ice warning already
  3. Radar looking good again....bound to make it further east now to give me a mountain a bitta the white stuff Cars frozen solid already.....showers look to be coming in steady throughout the night
  4. Going by radar the precipitation has stalled over sperrin and pom's house's for the past while?
  5. No snow here pom but fantastic frost this morning......hopefully get some of the white stuff over the next 24 hrs. I'd say up around the NW got a bit last night. More pink showing on the radar this morning again.
  6. Few snow showers heading in presently. metO warning for ice tonight so cold night ahead.....lovely
  7. Spots of green appearing around the north west on the net weather radar
  8. Defo feel colder when out at lunch there booferking. Snow symbols on MetO forecast now for my location on Saturday....interesting few days coming up. As you say even tonight some could get a flake or 2.
  9. First snow symbols of the year showing for my location on Saturday evening on Net Weather forecast Obviously taken with a large pinch of salt, but good to see all the same. Some could get a dusting from tomorrow evening on, but some heavy rain tomorrow to contend with first.
  10. This would keep a few happy.....Dublin snow shield in full effect yet again rochey
  11. MetO picking up signals too perhaps? Outlook for Wednesday to Friday: Rather unsettled with outbreaks of rain or showers and gradually turning colder with showers turning wintry on Friday. Best of any brighter drier interludes on Wednesday morning and Thursday afternoon.
  12. I would say it’s as windy here the last hour as it was on Monday.....even though I have no way of measuring. Coupious amounts of rain, Lagan is overfollowing around Lisburn in places. Thankfully looking dry and settled for a few days this coming week
  13. Brian moving over Ireland shown quite well on rain radar
  14. Hopefully this one stays south for this weekend. Talk of it weakening before it reaches this far on other forums. ukgust.webp
  15. It may be have been caused by Dubliners out with hairdryers looking another day off, If it’s worked I’m going to rally the hairdryer brigade in Belfast for a bit of the same.
  16. Anyone hazard a guess to which direction it will move? I assume north westwards up the Irish Sea?
  17. Having a look at wind map it’s going to continue for a few hours yet. I feel for my location the metO amber warning was justified.
  18. Just outside nutts corner jello and seems to have died down a bit
  19. Winds really starting to pick up now, have our guys out wind proofing the yard as much as possible. Work closing at 2.30 but might have to revise the time. Seems to be coming a bit earlier.
  20. We have our guys battening down the hatches, we where going to quit at 2.30 today but might have to revise that.
  21. Its very eerie approx 2 miles from Belfast International Airport this morning. Heavy rain and windy to start now dry and winds eased. I took a photo of the clouds to upload but it doesn't do it justice to what it actually looks like and how it feels. Once in a lifetime event for us today in Ireland....excitement is mounting.....but also is the fear
  22. A wet start to the day but the dried up and the wind seems to have eased slightly. A very strange and unsettling light/colour to the clouds
  23. A bit crazy this, oddly exciting to, but I fear it could be bad, mixed emotions over it really.
