    yes they are well aware in advance.Pilots decision unless the airport is closed,all perfectly safe, will have another attempt or two before diverting if it cant land

    Pretty bad here in Liverpool.Lights flickering every minute or two.Trees down in various parts.Building down on scotland road.

    just got back to liverpool after driving home from near blackburn,Quite tasty on the motorways so take care.Definately more windy than when i set off.

    calmish here now, wind nowhere as bad as before and blue skies...Deffo the calm before the storm,setting off home in about 30 minutes

    yeah mate, I worked on the seacat, wasnt good for roll in bad weather at the best of times but in storm force winds it was horrendous.Lost two engines sailing over in the foul weather.I vowed never to work on it again after that.The whole boat was destroyed inside,fridges in the bar fell down.All duty free stock was destroyed,thousands of pounds worth of vodka etc.It was a horrific journey mental! gotta do what ya gotta do though i guess

    not surprised.Be some crossing that! I remember back in the late 90s i worked on Liverpool to dublin ferries.A night crossing that should have taken 4hrs took over 11!!!! it was awful.I left 3 weeks after that I honestly thought i was going to die

    hahaha you know its bad when the dog wont go for a walk! Mine refuses to go out in the rain too.I love it,looks up at me as if to say "you having a laugh, have you looked out there" eh? Liverpool area?

    getting pretty bad here in blackburn.not as windy as before though i dont think,managed to have a smoke anyway still teaming it down with rain though.
