  1. Just recently installed a new weather station along with the Cumulus software
  2. I found this,it is a weekly RADIO SHOW,,i dont know whether its been posted before but hopefully some of you may find this interesting/useful Wise Guys of Weather Weekly discussion of weather and its effect on our world and society with Joe bustardi and Joe D'Aleo. http://www.blogtalkr...seguysofweather ps- When i posted this the system would not let me post Joe Bustardi's proper second name, which is really illigitamate
  3. I will be honest with you,i am not a scientist or a meteorologist.I am in fact a 43 year old big kid and i love this time of year, and coming to this site is part of my run up to Christmas ritual. And whilst nobody is going to run of to the bookies to place a £100 bet on a white Christmas based on a forecast in September,i think its still fun,It adds to the feeling that winter is on its way.Speaking of which, does anybody know when the "winter area" of the site will open?.I find the views and opinions of the more knowledgeable users of the site very intertaining and informative, and when the weathers about to turn colder, exciting too.Ok so its September, but in the scheme of things,,winter really is just around the corner.Bring it on
  4. Sitting patiently watching country tracks waiting for the forecast for the week.THEN just before the forecast was about start BBC1 cut to the film which was on BBC2.Then cut back after 5 to 10 minutes to country tracks, effectively removing the forecast.VERY strange
  5. Found this,,i think the guy who's page it is,,updates it every week.I use this link every week http://www.youtube.com/user/terratec365#p/a/u/0/HWp1AKCvzeM

  7. Fairly thick fog here this morning, sitting at -2.1c DP -4
  8. The following post is something which,if i were to read it as something somebody else had written,it would make my heart sink.I have just been outside and it appears that my light snow flurries which were falling earlier in a sort of christmassy styleeee have very Scroogely turned to rubbishy drizzly rain ITS TURNED BACK TO SNOW JUST AFTER I PRESSED THE ADD REPLY BUTTON FOR THE ABOVE
  9. Its actually getting a bit dark overhead, with a few sporadic flakes floating about.Temp rising to 1.2c RH88%
  10. Snowlover2 In Denny, sorry i took so long to reply was getting carried away with ma geetar
  11. Fairly light at the moment,,it seems to come in fits and starts. However the hills are barely visible so hopefully something more substantial is about to arrive
