Is it still snowing there? The radar suggests it's pretty much cleared Shrewsbury but I'm hoping it hasn't, as that means we could have longer until the snow clears, that the radar suggests
I cannot remember the last time I saw snow on the side of a house like this. I wish I had been awake to see the snow under that heavy PPN. The wind is driving here and it was probably blizzard conditions
I can't help but feel that we hit the jackpot here in Leicester. That heavy PPN giving us a direct hit a few hours ago was incredible.
Looks like Narnia out there this morning
Wow! I've just woken up due to massive heartburn, checked the window and it looks like we have even more snow than we did yesterday I just checked the radar and I can see that we had around an hour and a half of heavy PPN over us. That must have been what caused the damage
It's hammering it down with rain here but the temperature hasn't gone above 1c all day and evening. It just feels wrong that we have rain at 1c normally always snows at that tenperature.
I'd be amazed if we saw that after the thaw we'll get before it turns back to snow from 3am onwards. We'd need a solid 6 hours of moderate to heavy snowfall. I'd love to be proven wrong though
I was worried that the blob of heavy precip would be rain and start to wash away the snow, but thankfully it wasn't. Hopefully once this clears, it will stay mostly dry until tomorrow morning when it turns back to snow.

The line between rain and snow must literally be about 5 miles South of here We still have snow grains falling but Hinckley, 13 miles to the South, had rain
If we all go outside at 10pm with fans and blow in a Southerly direction, maybe we can get the mild air to stall and then head back South earlier than expected
Really?! I know Ratby is a bit higher up than some surrounding areas, so maybe that's why. I bet Coalville has had it bad as well, they're slightly higher there.
Woke up this morning to about 5cm added overnight and chucking it down with Snow again! I'm expecting it to turn to rain later this afternoon, but it's been a good event, this.
Dying away here now. What a day, though!! Snowing non-stop since 11am. 12 hours it's a shame it didn't start to settle until 6pm. Could have had 15cm now instead of the 3-5cm we have still, cannot complain, it has been great.
