morning all, just been to my garage and we have snow flakes falling ! not many but it is coming down they are about the size of a 10p piece. sky is grey also temp on my station is 0.3C we`ll see what happens later good luck to all that want snow!! just noticed shiny bottoms on ! have you got the flakes mate dont know where in Derby you are but just checked an and its still there.

Hi all happy new year !! I know its the wrong thread but i dont know if it is of any value to you model watchers, positioning etc ( please forgive my terminology ) but here in Derby i`ve got flakes of snow falling, only odd ones and that many it has now stopped ! dont know if its a help or hinderance !!

i totally agree with what yourself and Jethro say. but if `the models `are saying it then why is it not happening in real time ? yes it is difficult, but in this day and age of technology maybe better eh

On NW radar, first wave (am) light drizzle,second wave (pm)heavy rain/sleet and snow funny that, my nw radar doesn`t show pm yet

exactly Andy, forget charts models etc, if its gonna snow it will !! but then again it might not, doesn`t matter what it says on charts models etc what comes down from the sky is right !! no two models are the same at the moment so how can anybody possibly know whats going to happen. have a guess !! ( and if you look at the charts they might give a clue ) !! even the model output lot have fallen out with each other !! no posts for 40 mins !!
