Currently raining in Limavady.

Wee dusting round Limavady this morning. I left the house on the bike this morning before daylight to head up to loughermore trig for sunrise. There was a few cm once you gained a bit of elevation.

I would have liked to have seen some falling snow today too. When I was on my walk earlier I was hoping for a shower but it skirted along the coast.

Looks to be fresh snow on the Coleraine mountain. Just rain down in Limavady.

I thought I heard thunder but I had the hoover on.

I was up at Loughermore forest there with the wee fella and there was very little snow about and the temp was 1. If I'd have walked up to the trig which is about 400m asl off the top of my head I'm sure there would be more but the wee man is only nearly 2 and it would too much for him.

I was out on the bike today doing the 5 forests and it was snowing when I was going through Drumramer forest between the Coleraine mountain road and ringsend road. It was very dry powdery snow and was lying on the grass readily but wasn’t very heavy. Lovely views today too Keady mountain to the right and Lough Foyle.

Good hard frost this morning. I was out at 05:00 to Tesco to do the Christmas shop

Hard frost this morning and still frozen out there now.

Just rain and sleet in Limavady it did start out as about a minute of snow.

Was up at loughermore trig point just before mid day. Most of the showers must have missed us during the night.

Managed to get my weather station going again. It’s a bit battered these days the wind speed and direction sensors both broke last winter but everything else still works.

I was over sperrin road yesterday and there's still a patch of snow left near the top of Sawel mountain. My smart phone is broken so I couldn't take a pic.
