  1. About 3 it was trying to snow with a few tiny flakes constantly in the air. As it got heavier it's turned to rain but its getting a bit sleetier now. I never held out much hope for my location for this spell anyway. Too North and not enough elevation. I have seen some falling snow and a dusting.
  2. There's a light shower outside now and it's sleety. Still a good 3 inches lying after the last shower. Literally just turned to snow as I finished typing that
  3. It seems like a there's a bit of a thaw happening out there now. The trees etc have a lot of water dripping off them.
  4. A good heavy shower earlier and another one happening now. Must be a good 2-2.5 inches out there now. I have to pick the wife up from work at 8 she works up untreated roads could be an interesting drive looking at the radar.
  5. That shower earlier gave us just about an inch it's melting but another shower now is topping it up again. Dog is loving the snow too
  6. The showers seem to pass by either side of me tonight still have a dusting.
  7. It seems to rain here which causes a slight thaw then it completely freezes over again. I'm out at 7 to take the wife to work my street is untreated so it'll be fun.
  8. Was awful trying to walk the dog without breaking a hip tonight the whole place is like that up here.
  9. A heavy shower started as I was leaving to walk the dog and ended just as I arrived home I have a reverse dalmation instead of a Labrador
  10. The showers are very fleeting but I don’t really want a pile of snow have to Dungiven to work and work outside all day tomorrow somewhere about the country.
  11. I was driving back from Coleraine to dungiven before 5 and at the top of the hill and down into the pot the weather was wintery. I’m just back in from walking the dog and it doesn’t feel cold enough for snow but I spent all day outside working so maybe I’ve acclimatised to it .
  12. Gate didn’t survive the night a couple of screws and fingers crossed it survives the rest of the storm.
  13. I don’t like westerly winds they blow straight at my fragile very old garden gates. I have the wheelie bin pushed up against them to brace them but they’re at bursting point
  14. Snow in dungiven according to Facebook. I thought it was snowing in Limavady earlier but couldn’t be sure.
  15. That first picture the snow is frozen hard enough the bike sat on top of it with out sinking it's much deeper than it looks.
  16. Took an explore on the bike. Even at 200-250 metres there were a couple of 1 foot drifts and an even covering about 3 inches. Couldn’t go up to loughermore trig (400m) as the snow was frozen and it was like cycling through frozen treacle at walking pace
  17. Shower is passing through now and saw a flash of lightning . Must be fairly far away as the thunder was fairly faint and took a while to arrive.
  18. Only a horrible sleety rainy mess here but I can see snow on all the surrounding hills.
