  1. followed by the alomst traditional August washout when the schools are off-yep i can see this happening.
  2. I truly think either from Wimbledon fortnight in Early July or when the Schools break up in the 3rd week of next month will be when the Summer will goes downhill.
  3. Oh boy here we go with the hosepipe bans's-didn't take long into summer this year didn't it.
  4. If we get above 35.c, People will go berserk-If it gets to 40C again like it did last year infrastructure will come to almost a complete halt and people will go off their heads-either way this heat has got trouble written all over it.
  5. You're not the only one thinking this-i'm fast thinking we should all emigrate somewhere cooler between the Spring Bank Holiday and And the Summer Bank Holiday if this is "the new normal" after last year, Summer can basically do one until it deciedes to throw another 2007/12 style summer at us-i think i prefer that to this disgusting prolonged heat.
  6. It will be three months and backwards a week before that (aka when the schools break up on July 20th!)
  7. Whether people believe this or not we need the rain-more than what we got in some places earlier this evening.
  8. The temperature is currently dropping like a stone here in Sheffield as well-we just need the rain to turn up now.
  9. I'm not waiting til then for the breakdown!
  10. Should someone start a "we want a breakdown and we want it now" chant at mother nature right now
  11. The Sun has turned hazy in Sheffield in the last hour or so-whether that leads to anything is another matter.
  12. And yet when we do get an easterly it's in entirely the wrong season. Please can the models switch off the ovens and send some rain our way please-preferably before Glastonbury and Wimbledon happen otherwise Sheffield will be back to square one in terms of the river levels-imagine if we haven't had both the snowmelt from the snowday and the wet April-we would be in trouble by now.
  13. Surely the GFS has to win out and turn unsettled some time.
  14. It broke down earlier than that when we had the rains in October/November.
  15. Either it looks like the Atlantic might be about to wake up if all of this was to come off.
  16. Well this what you would call a dramatic u-turn if this comes off on Thursday night (which knowing our luck it won't).
  17. And just when the rivers had refilled when we had the wet spell from March to Coronation Day, we're now back to square one and possibly back on drought watch-let's just hope things don't get as bad as they did last year.
  18. I think 32.C at some point before the last week of July and that will be it since things usually start going downhill as soon as the schools break up.
  19. And if i was reading Gavin's video right it looks both May Day and the weekend of the Coronation could both be grim weather wise-still 2-3 weeks away on both so we shall see.
  20. Well this month is definitely going top 5 possibly top 3 by the end of the day for Sheffield when today's rain is added.
