  1. It's been really sunny and nice here, probably one of the best days we've had,not too humid and 24c
  2. I know it's not an official reading but my garden thermometer which is shaded on the back fence has just hit 34.3c,this is the highest it has ever reached here.
  3. Just had a 5-10 minute shower here , seems to have passed now
  4. Much brighter today , still some fairweather cloud around , but certainly an upgrade on the past 2 days?️
  5. Been Cloudy here pretty much for 2 days, very disappointing
  6. still cloudy here ,yet 3-4 miles away in St Helens it looks sunny
  7. I find it really annoying when the BBC forecast is harping on about England and Wales will be hot and sunny but NI and Scotland will be cooler with cloud , well guess what I live in England and yesterday was cloudy all day and today is similar, there is no heatwave across England , it's localised in the south

  9. It's rubbish isn't it. looks like it's clearing from the NE,at the moment we're under a mix of sunny intervals and cloud
  10. It's been yet another disappointing day in the NW
  11. It would've been nice to see the sun shining though
  12. As the great scouse philosopher Jim Royle would say "Heatwave ,My A***" ,it's warm here but cloudy and certainly not 'exceptional'
  13. The sun did break through for a while, but it's clouded over again here
  14. Most of our nice spring weather during lockdown seems to have come as a result of HP drawing in easterlies which breaks up the cloud and leaves us with sunshine here i the NW
  15. The lack of extreme heat forecast here isn't a problem as long as it's sunny , anything above 19-20c with sunshine in my South facing garden feels almost tropical anyway
  16. Easterlies are normally good for us here in the Western part of GM thanks to being sheltered by the Pennines,we get quite a lot of sunny days from HP Easterlies
  17. I'm not by any means someone who can read all the intricacies of weather charts , however if I'm right then there has been a massive downgrade for us in the NW from what they were predicting yesterday for next week. From what I can see we could well end up under rain bearing fronts whilst the SE basks in 34-38c and sunshine. Is this correct
  18. I'd rather they passed through quickly,I was hoping to have BBQ later for me and my wife,we're in quarantine after being stitched up by Boris after returning from Spain last sunday
  19. Got up to 33c here , now it's started raining
  20. There's a line of showers heading NE through central/east wales, please tell me it's not coming our way
  21. Just switched the heating on for a bit,I'm freezing
