For coastal areas in our region, it with be important to see what is happening in the south coast thread early tomorrow. If Isle of Wight sees snow, then relax. If it doesn’t, then start looking at Southampton and Portsmouth. If they don’t, then the marginal risk is great further east. ( obviously further east has better chances with more continental flow and probably lower dps
Is there even a south coast thread im just north of portsmouth ?.

Sorry to disappoint, but I think you mean feet- and you've rounded up a bit! ...Portsdown hill is 131m or 430 ft. But yes... much more likely to get snow over the landward side of the hill then in Portsmouth itself.
The highest point in Hampshire is Pilot hill up near the Berkshire border at 286m or 938 feet. Butser hill, a bit up the A3 towards Petersfield is another good spot at 270m - I remember skiing down that after a huge storm back in the 1980s.
Ahh my bad

I think one area to watch for the South East is the channel south of Portsmouth. If you run the loop on sat24 you can see the cloud bubble up. I'm sure cell development will happen there soon

Our local weather has storms coming in from the south west but I still think they could pop up any where to be honest
