Good luck to all that get a storm or two today. :D

  3. Now begins a long night... good luck to all, which ever side you voted for. :)

I'm the same, but in a way it's a blessing as you don't get complacent with the sun! Tanning is pretty much just as bad for you anyway.

I go a 'dirty' tan colour and it takes a while, never burned until i went on Holiday one year and didn't but enough cream on my shoulders. However I know some one who spent their time sun bathing and got the C word from it, so I'm always careful near sun nowadays - even although it's hard to think that some thing that gives and helps life can also take it away. Take care.

  6. If Candlemas brings snow and rain,

Winter is gone and won't come again.

If Candlemas be clear and bright,

    Winter will have another flight.

Better off without? If they notice others whilst 'with you' , and then act upon it then you are better off away from it all? Very sad and tough on you but try and grow from it all. :-)

  12. I'm confused, so how many lightning strikes were there yesterday/today? Conflicting (widely) totals everywhere... some

Not as in houses. I live near river frome, so the quay has a tendancy to flood on spring tides, especially as rain waters pass down.
