Indeed, showing up well on radar - pretty localised affairs that will deliver or should you be beneath them. Then hardly a drop just a few miles either side.

Very isolated heavy shower poss storm over C Wales too, W of Welshpool. Edit, looking quite an active one at that, Newtown area.

Can't see the point in spleen venting in convective/storm discussion lol..it's the UK not Florida? People of Yorkshire will be shaking their heads with disbelief and yes, too early to write off Summer yet, considering Autumn can provide the goods. Sometimes more so...

Period of quite heavy rain pushed through, as always hard to pinpoint where any thundery activity shall be..as it's a developing situation, still too early to say. Sometimes showers tend to break out ahead of the main 'event' so here's hoping. I'm pretty sure some parts of Yorkshire didn't expect to get what they did last night..
