    Folks ...Chill..this is going to be a great snowfall for our region......Have faith...and wait till tomorrow to judge the event "Its a 48 hour system...some may take back what they say...because its only just beginning" Rock on and the main fall is forcast and after disecting the mip mop we have a good chance of a major fall with an awful lot of distruption. Hold tight. Robbie

    It was always expected to pivot and fragment as the warm sector pushed northeast, give the system until after 4pm and it should start to make track further north. This evening could be an interesting rush hour with further risk as the night and system evolves.

    judging by the meto radar theres lots of showers further north, i think by tomorrow morning there will be some surprise falls for our region

    man its crazy snow here still heavy, the roads have become a playground for kids and big kids alike as most cars have given up

    lol its still snowing heavy here in stockport. Side roads are buried in it and main roads are difficult. People are popping out to the end of their drive-ways and just stareing at each other.

    just been out with a coffee eeerr going no where today, roads are mad and work is outa the question, 8 inchs so far. madness.

    8pm onwards i should think for any snowfalls for our area.

    The reason the flash warning went out were due to the unexpected speed of the low pushing up, it wasnt till it pushed further north that it met the colder air some things have shifted further north. Looks good for the Manchester and surrounding areas for this evening.

    I want snow as much as the next person, at no point was the ever mentioned 3hrs of snow from this system, the front edge of the percipitaion if far to light and weak and the heavy echos have lost its intecerty.

    what ever falls it will be very short lived anyhows now as the front has narrowed drastically oh well
