Thanks baracus, likely bit more in queensbury, has all the snow melted from previous as i had 10-12 inches in queensbury when i left last saturday

Hi Guys what a day, left home this morning with 10cm left over from saturday with an extra 2 cm through the night .. but wow today! Ive just measured between 27 and 30cm of level snow in the garden with approx 15cm fresh on cleared driveways from this morning! Think the met office were a mile off the mark and its still coming down steadily now!

It seems to be heading too far north, it needs to slow up now!

That's exactly where i am now and its coming down heavily. Already a good cm or so on top of the 3-4inches remaining from saturday could be a fun commute tomorrow morning!!

Im lucky I'm still sat with 10cm+ in queensbury but could do with it not snowing tonight with important work stuff to do tomorrow

Bazookabob, I've only just move up here so I've not tested the locals! main roads are bad up here now, I've just come back over soil hill at 390m asl with winter tyres and a 4x4 and its getting a bit nasty! Cowdog where exactly are you?

The radar is looking good at the moment for west yorkshire and it should be turning more to snow to low levels as the temp drops

yeah it seems to be one of the best places today, its coming down very hard now! Recovered the drive which id cleared already another 1-2cms on previously cleared areas. Doesn't look like stopping anytime soon and its down to -0.1c now aswell. good luck for some settling snow to the rest of you!

Hi Guys, my first post here but i live in Queensbury about 1100ft ASL, still snowing here approx 10cm+ on the ground. However it warmed up to 2degrees c earlier and a slow thaw started however its back down to below 1 now and snowing lightly
