    No cumulus about, just a lot of mid level-cloud, very humid now.

    Can see the Welsh borders kopping a good chunk of this again, looking at the movement of cloud. Hazy sun now, temp at 28.2C, still rising, Met/BBC still have maxes at 26C.

    Temp just shy of 23C, around Wolves, with mainly clear skies, maybe set for a lot of action later this afternoon.

    Right on eastern edge of this, stop start outbreaks of rain, feeling that this may be the end of any thunder/lightning locally now.

    Worst seems to be south of Telford, rain stopped now, short but sweet. Another just north of Worcester, looks larger, not sure of direction or whether it will reach here.

    Storm developing just to SW of Wolves, heading for Telford/Shrewsbury area, can hear thunder in distance.

    A few clouds moving in from the south and south-east now, temp rising fairly quickly now, 27.4C.

    Saturday's threat of storms seems to have been scrubbed off the warnings list here, looking at the BEEB's site, but still have that stiff ENE breeze, temp has only just crept past 20C even though it was forecasted to reach 22/23C today, warm in direct sun out of the wind though.

    Sun out since sunrise here, a few patcy low level clouds about, but buning away pretty quickly, still that stiff breeze, but looks set for a clear sunny day.
