    Met Office have no warnings south of Wolves, started to light up 50/60 miles SSE of here.

    Looking like that storm threat has blown a fuse here, just a few light showers now, too much cloud.

    Hit just N of here, had sudden downpour plus one powerful flash, bit of a surprise.

    Nothing too severe here this afternoon, just one lone rumble this afternoon, and a couple of brief heavy downpours, maybe something developing to the south of here looking at the radar at the mo.

    Temp stuck at 18C here at the mo, going to be as dark as a date after this week of constant strong, sun, so suncream will be a must, especially for my head!.

    Livened up now big flash followed by loud crack. Torrential rain now.

    Temp still at 28C, very quiet, check that, constant rumbling to the south of me, think it's moving in a more westerly direction.

    Just waiting here, third one in this area in three days - looking ominous.

    Same as yesterday, another clump of mid-level cloud tracking this way, sun will be blotted out again soon.

    Tend to avoid the BBC/MetOffice, as both sites had light rain falling until 10 pm, when we actually had a short storm plenty of thunder with a few flashes followed by 3/4 hours of mod/ heavy rain.

    Not too severe, a little disappointing, just moderate/heavy rain falling now.

    Thunder less frequent now, a few flashes, rain not too heavy, starting to die.

    Constant rumbling in distance getting louder, a few spots of rain, still hasn't reached here yet.
