  1. Borderline on that cold rain/sleet/wet/snow here, will be keeping my eyes peeled.
  2. Snow has been on the ground/or in the air more times on my Bday than most other times of the year, that i can recall.
  3. Looking like another dose of the the good old wet rain next week then, snowfall heights are creeping slowly north.
  4. This next pattern of weather on the way may well be welded in place for the foreseeable.
  5. Had a nice sprinkle of talc on the ground this morning, no worries, temps will be back to norm by Sat/Sun.
  6. Wouldn't lose any sleep over this timid threat of snow now, it's starting to fall in line with the weather the country has had prior to this cooler spell.
  7. Best to wait until at least the 3 day timeframe comes in to play, runs will continue to bounce N/S/E/W. Even within 24 hrs it is difficult forecasting weather around the UK.
  8. See if any can leave the models alone for 5 days, 7 would be a huge challenge.
  9. Temp hovering just below 2C, maybe if this has a daytime temp, a bit of sleet/wet snow may of been in the mix, but it's not, so looking forward to another 18/24hrs of cold rain.
  10. About time the Met took their snow warning off now & replace it with rain, threat to public has more or less dissipated.
  11. Breakdown is already here, rain has started falling - unless you're 500m + up on a hill/small mountain.
  12. Forget the cold/snow hunting for now, nothing is going to stop this current Atlantic onslaught.
  13. Misty and murky out, looking like some rain on the way shortly, temps still slowly creeping up, have been since yesterday evening, so not too surprised at the thawing, up to 1.5C now.
  14. Temps barely made it above 0C today, frost didn't shift if off a fair few trees, got a feeling that this little burst late autumn/early winter of may leave a few grubby slushy feet.
  15. Local forecasts still very sceptical of much of the white fluffy flakes falling here, erring on the side of caution with cold rain/sleet maybe a little wet snow, depending on fall rate. Still best to glance out the window.
  16. Not gonna lose any sleep over these, lost enough already, too far ahead.
  17. Saw this junk a couple of days ago, nearly pi**ed myself, said 80" of snow would fall - from the Daily Mail.
  18. Like the Wolves v Spurs game when a few walked out at the 89th minute!, you never know what is around the corner.
  19. I'm still not paying much attention to anything beyond 48/72 hrs, all models too undecided at short range.
  20. Anyone seen this, nearly pi**ed myself laughing when i read this:- UK weather: Maps show 600 mile 'wall of snow' to bury Brits in 80 inches amid -10C freeze (msn.com)
  21. Keep watching, odds on it will be different during the next runs, so get your heads down and start again tomorrow, i certainly will.
