    Anothe very refreshing day currently. Cloudy and breezy. Pity this won't last..............

    I was shocked to look out my window earlier and notice........RAIN! (OK it was drizzle and didn't last long) but my god we got a little bit of water from the sky! Pity it couldn't keep raining but hey ho

    must admit these next few days of cooler air are so refreshing! I know the heat's coming back but going to enjoy the temporary relief

    It's a lovely refreshing 18 here with a breeze. So much better! (Although the cool down is only brief which is a b****r)

    GFS FI seems to be a little iffy again (fronts crossing over) mostly scotland though and seems to turn it cooler

    Again can I ask? What is the difference today compared to yesterday? Is it that front juicing the air up? (the cold front)?

    Thought there was more of a chance as humidity was awful and seemed to be energy but alas diddy squat. Feels fresher today thank god!

    Why was there a distinct lack of action today? (I think I know the answer) it seemed energy was through the roof in places and the humidity/heat god awful but nothing materialised?

    Any hint of possibly something on GFS seems to be away out at T+360 but until then it looks mostly dry dry dry (and eventually heating up again)

    Got to admit saturday is going to be quite welcoming! I do like heat but this has not been all that comfortable here this spell especially today (however long comfort lasts who knows) but i'll take it!

    Still mostly clear here and hot so I would think the chance of anything today here locally is pretty low despite all the energy/CAPE getting shown

    The forecast showed wales as possibly having a few heavy showers tomorrow afternoon as the heat and cold front combine

    The skies here we're virtually clear about 15 minutes ago now all of a sudden the mist/low cloud's rolled in. Still mighty breezy too but did make it feel slightly more comfortable today (but not much) saturday can't come quick enough!

    You can see the cloud ready to stream in can see it to the east and north) Thankfully tomorrow may be a little cooler!

    What can we expect up here from the CF later this week? Up here at least it does not look like anything special (just your standard cold front coming through lowering the temperatures) more so than wednesday's CF so it seems?

    Turned into a hazy balmy summer evening. Wind has died of death now.

    Still quite a bit of cloud here with a breeze but pretty warm. Might not be the best weekend sun wise (cloud may well linger most of the weekend) but come monday summer arrives
