  1. As I asked before when you mentioned this, I would really need to see a HAR file to look at what's going on, as it's not something happening widely and not re-creatable locally, on a similar-sized 2k screen or on our remote testing software either. If you can send it over via the site, I'll have a closer look and respond in the ticket: https://community.netweather.tv/contact/ But please sanitise it first. Generating a HAR file for troubleshooting – Zendesk help SUPPORT.ZENDESK.COM Zendesk Customer Support may occasionally need additional information about the network requests that are generated in your browser. A member of the team may ask you to record a HAR file, or a log ...
  2. It looks like you have the browser window zoomed out though, try it with it on normal 100% zoom, and I suspect it'll be fine. I troubleshot this exact issue previously.
  3. Are you zoomed out a long way (browser zoom, not the zoom on the map), or using a massive monitor perhaps? That's the only instance where I've seen it be slow, and that was purely down to the fact that the PC couldn't draw the images quickly enough, as if you're using the browser zoom to get a wider view or have a particularly hi-res monitor, it's hundreds and hundreds of tiles that may need to be loaded. In normal use, that's not the case.
  4. I've updated this thread to purely be a winter chat thread. We'll be starting a dedicated winter / models moans and ramps thread shortly. So, please keep it to general chat in here & please remember that this thread (and all others on the community) are not intended to be used to moan about or criticise other members
  5. There's no plan to bring that back for the moment at least, I'm afraid.
  6. Ok, busy time coming up, and it's going to take an effort from the whole community to keep everything running smoothly: Please stay on topic and just keep to discussing the models in this thread. For more general chat, please use the winter chat thread, the moans and ramps thread, or the regional threads for localised weather discusssions. Please keep twitter style trolling and nonsense to twitter - don't bring it to the community Please report posts you think break the forum guidelines Please don't respond to iffy posts in thread Please enjoy the thread, the ups and downs and the drama - but please keep the real melodrama, toys out of prams and mega ramps to the moans and ramps threads. Thank you and happy model watching!
  7. No it wasn't https://community.netweather.tv/topic/99706-model-output-discussion-into-2024/?do=findComment&comment=4989988
  8. Strange, thanks for reporting. I'll get it raised as a potential bug for us to look at in the new year
  9. I don't know what's going on with it tbh. I gather there's been some sort of ddos on invision's systems today, so I suspect it's related to that. I've not had any direct communication about it from them yet, but have raised a ticket. We'll be reviewing the hosting of the community in the new year.
  10. We have a fresh thread here, and it would be nice if everyone could make the effort to keep their posts model related. For general chat, moans etc, please use the winter thread
  11. Yeah, I must admit I expected them to have made something available before now. I think ultimately it's a commercial viability thing. It would be quite niche without much of a market, so they probably don't see a route to recouping whatever it may cost them to package it up, process it, disseminate it etc.
  12. They don't have any public or commercial offerings for doppler based stuff. We ask every year!
  13. Which GFS is that? Quite widespread frosts showing during the hp period in the latter part of the run.
  14. Errm, well instead of 100 posts questioning whether this particular model is likely to produce temperatures of x, y or z, why not just look at what temperatures it's showing? All fairly moot of course, it's miles off, but just for the sake of moving past whatever the temperature discussion was...
  15. Lots of power problems in the highlands, which I suspect will be the issue with the webcams. Cairngorm mountain, as an example, is closed entirely today due to a lack of electricity.
  16. We update them periodically. We did add a few new ones in November, but your one can't have been included if it's still not showing. We're scheduled to do a fairly sizeable postcode database change and update in the new year, which will involve a full refresh, so it shouldn't be too long before your new one is available.
  17. It has been, as it was very hard to distinguish between it and the hail colour (we recently improved the hail algorithm, so it's showing more often). You can open up the scale by clicking the icon bottom right. The freezing rain colour is somewhat darker.
  18. We have a white Christmas, first since moving up here. Merry Christmas everyone.
  19. Just wanted to pop in between meal prep and present opening to wish everyone a merry Christmas. Thought I'd leave this too - despite some talk about the 'consistency' from the ECM, the ensembles (as they often do) paint a more nuanced picture. Potentially (but not definitely!) interesting times ahead.
  20. Zooming in closer to the storm on the 15z UKV later next week, it's definitely one to watch, with coastal gusts closing in on 90mph. Details are bound to change though.
  21. I think it may be ISP / Network related as the vast majority seem to be having no issues, lots of posts etc.
