Light dusting overnight in Portsmouth, nice to wake up to.

Snow falling in Portsmouth now, light at the moment.

Here in Portsmouth the wait goes on for our first covering of Snow this Winter. Hopefully we will get in on the action , showers forcasted to spread more Westwards during the next couple of days.

It was Snowing proper for a spell in the North of Pompey,Cosham , light Snow in Town centre and Sleet by the sea in Southaea.

Temp now 2.5 deg in Portsmouth Town Centre from a day high of 4 just drizzle at the moment.

To warm to settle but still good for us starved South Coast residents.

My Taxi has temp of 3.5 from 4 deg an hour ago in Portsmouth town centre. In between sleet and Snow at the minute.

Local forecasts gave Snow only for the North Hants downs but even the IOW has Snow!!!!

hi don't know how to post charts yet as I have joined but the NAE has Snow down through Oxfordshire Berkshire and Hampshire at 6 pm this evening but rain to the west , Dorset etc.

Hi newbie here, latest NAE shows Snow making it almost down to the South Coast. I am in Pompey temp currently 4degrees so rain I suppose is more likely here. Feels colder though so fingers crossed.
