    Still could end up with a UK High but there's a way to go yet & lots to be optimistic about, Squares with the maintained narrative from Exeter - More settled and colder.

    Certainly an improving run so far. WAA well out in the Atlantic and heading towards Greenland. Hopefully the Newfoundland lLP will also move Northwards.

    It's great to see a true Cold High over N Russia ridging into Scandinavia and pressure building over Greenland ridging to Iceland. Nearly Holy Grail type evolution there. Dense very cold surface air to the NE.

    Down, down deeper and down (for those that remember ). And.. a mean reversal indicating a major SSW on the cards still (ECM).

    Definite cooling trend from the 06z T2M graph with the Mean somewhat better than the 0z despite the Op & Control liftng a bit. 06z 00z
