  1. The main message I get from reading this thread is that many of you are:
  2. Hope I'm not too late for this... Sunday, 27th, sometime between 1am and 8am.
  3. Went for a wonder up around the woods near Castle Coch in Tongwynlais earlier this afternoon. Was shocked by how much snow was up there. Village itself had largely thawed as had some of the paths up to the castle. Got about halfway up and then wham - tons of snow still around. The woods still had 6+ inches and trees/plants covered in it. Extra bonus was the number of paths that hadn't been walked down; nothing better than virgin snow. Wish I had a camera with me as it was unreal, not least as the snow was dry and powdery rather than the wet stuff.
  4. Light snizzle here although sky looks very dark and ominous.
  5. Easing off here, shame but still impressive to have 6+ hours of snow. Maybe the pivot is in action and it'll start back up for a bit. Even if not, it's been an interesting evening.
  6. That one looks good - centred on Cardiff and with us for the next 4+ hours.
  7. Properly coming down now, flakes have increased in size and it's heavy!
  8. Have to say that it is really chucking it down but flakes are small. It almost looks like a super heavy rain storm as opposed to snow and is affecting visibilty. Certainly the heaviest snow I've seen for a long time, just wish the flakes were bigger.
  9. Bit puzzling, it's been snowing steadily here (Radyr) for about 5 hours now but not a lot has stuck. Look out the window and it's coming down fast although small(ish) flakes. Roads are slush more than anything, with a distinct greyish look about them.
  10. Front is meant to pivot at some point, so not just a straight pass over.
