    This afternoon has been like a true winters day of the past,(i know its spring).Since around one, snow on and off then bright then really dark with heavy snow settling then melting then drier then more snow ..the wind is so biting cold as well.Maybe this is the last hurrah of winter .But I thought that a few weeks ago.It cant go on much longer surely?

    Proper light snow here now ,overcast and feels like mid January !

    Heaviest of the day bigger flakes, settling on grass and trees not the roads though.

    Wind gusts really getting up now,blowing settled snow around.Only a light covering though.

    Not sure if this is from the depression or a long shower, heavy "light snow" for last hour covering almost everything,very dry and blowing around.

    Very slight covering on most surfaces a few flakes in the wind.

    Started at 15.30 fairly light but settling on grass and roofs not bad considering was expecting rain 24 hours ago.

    Its been snowing here since 8.30 ish didnt settle to start with then became fairly heavy about 09.00 started to settle.Lighter now but still persistent am surprised we have so much.. 2cms, but not on roads.Higher up in Hindhead really good fall. Whitehill 120 metres.
