Light snow in Hyde, (east) Manchester. Winds are really picking up now. Hope we get a good blasting over the next couple of days

Whiteout conditions in Hyde, West Manchester and 4 flashes of lightening! The floor is already white!!

The clouds over Hyde, West Manchester have gone black! I've not seen clouds this black in a long time... I wouldn't be surprised if we had some lightening soon.

She was very lucky her Audi a5 just totally lost control on the carriage way and i seen her hit the barrier at about 40/45Mph i nearly crashed into her as she span round and started sliding back down the motorway! But i can honestly say Hyde has had a battering tonight with flakes size of golf balls and i really hope theres more to come

Just had to help a women who has crashed her car on the m67 the motorway has about 3/4 foot drifts at the top near to the roundabout

Hope Hyde gets the red zones! I bet the pennies are blocked and cars are stuck up there its not uncommon for that to happen

More sleet than snow here

Is it just me thinking this or is the main band going to miss Manchester? Because the radar looks like all the heavy stuff is moving Northeast?

Snowing again in Hyde, East Manchester only light hopefully we might get a few more heavy showers to add a couple more cm before the band moves North!

Whats the best and most accurate radar? Does anybody know?
