  1. BBC weekly forecast last night… snow under 10c for Bristol/Cardiff area on Saturday. Dreadful - and useless given I’ve got to go Bristol for football on Saturday afternoon…
  2. It’s bound to rain in Plymouth. If we barely get anything in Dec 2010 and March 2018 this isn’t going to deliver Jack.
  3. It’s been the best Summer for me since 1995. However this morning was the first time the sun came up post 6am which I really noticed on a lie in for me. Autumn is a coming!!!
  4. I can hear very distant thunder here now. And I’m getting that pressure headache
  5. I can see the anvil over the Bodmin storm from here looking East.
  6. Well it’s going out with a whimper here. Cloudy and no signs of thunder…
  7. My spare bedroom/ office is at 29c at the mo. Bearable just. It ramped over 32 yesterday and I gave up working. Far too hot for me.
  8. Exactly. One thing being in a flat is I have a condenser tumble dryer which I use when it’s winter. That throws out a Lot of heat so rather than warm the spare bedroom- that can go into the lounge- and that will help. May not look good but that heat will help!
  9. So long as it’s a northern blast I’ll cope. It’s when the wind is in the east as it was 2018 when this flat got bitterly cold as the lounge faces that way. I’ll top up the electric meter from next pay day and ride it out.
  10. September 1986 I don’t remember but August 86 was a dreadful month. It just wasn’t even warm down here and capped by Hurricane Charley on the bank holiday.
  11. It was, temperature dropped to 22c from 25c but it’s climbing again. Expecting 27 or 28c as a finish
  12. Cell to the SE towards Wembury and Heybrook Bay is more punchey and giving high level cloud lightning. The atmosphere is very unstable towards Plympton in the photo
  13. Storm to East of me and one to the west. Here I am , stuck in the middle with you
  14. Here comes round 2, it’s black to the south. My head is thumping and the seagulls are going bananas!
  15. Well that came from nowhere!!! That little cell built all on its own!
  16. Main line railway closed at Penzance lightning has hit line. Issues now at Gulval and Praze en Beeble
  17. Listening to Radio Cornwall - it’s sounding bad around Penzance and Lizard area with a gorse fire started by lightning on Zennor moor
  18. The wind has changed and is now a gusty southerly as the cloud cover increases.
  19. Can’t come in quick enough. The humidity is rising quickly here making it very uncomfortable. Sky is milky looking East, much cloudier South and West
  20. Morning all. Well, it’s all kicking off in North West France and heading our way. Normally I’d say they’d die but the heat and energy is there and the clouds here back that up that they should cross to us first. Hotter at 6am than most Summer afternoons!
