Well I was running on the Shropshire hills this morning to ascertain where the Shropshire Snow Shield (SSS hereafter) has it's 'ceiling' - it turns out that this is at 400m ASL as can distinctly be seen from the photographs. BTW the views to Wales were lovely, and if you ever get a chance to visit the Stiperstones (Summit in the distance) the views are usually worth the trip.

I know I'm only at 79 meters asl, but the rain splashing against the window as I write this tells it's own story. Off to the Shropshire hills tomorrow morning for a running event. Hopefully will be able to see into Wales and view the snowy Berwyns *sigh*

Unfortunately the Big dome in the sky has prevented Shropshire (once again) from getting any snow today. It was funny at first, then frustrating, now just painful.
