Thanks for that mate, explains why the clouds aren’t as full or as numerous as they could have been. Nice to see the East getting in on the action though , been a while since they had a flake settling I think.

Same question here. All the values seemed to be right for a major snow event so something was over estimated. I wonder what?

Just been to put the bin out and nowt but a slight sprinkling, been rubbish for west Barnsley today.

Radar looks like just north of Leeds getting into a proper heavy streamer, that’s more like it Also a more consistent area developing into more central Leeds areas but still rubbish Barnsley way

That’s the worry I don’t see any attraction of ££££ heating bills if there’s no snow. Heatings been on full blast for days. I dread to think what the bill will be

Yeah I read that somewhere apparently on sat view you can see the stream of clouds all the way from the Baltic, absolutely mind blowing the distance this cold is extending

I’ve had the Michelin allweathers on mine for a couple of years now with living up here and they make a remarkable difference Don’t stop you from getting stuck behind idiots who can’t drive in snow though

Re flooding Went for a walk round our reservoir earlier and it’s overflowing and flooding the road so could be bad for lower parts once this lotmakes it down to lower levels

Latest GFS just rolling out definately got the snow further south so Leeds in the firing line for longer period of snow, south York’s just too far South on that chart, but who knows
