i would not be surprised of a warning issued for Norfolk and Suffolk its now snowing heavy here and looking what coming out of Belgium. we are in for a long old night ,with drifting snow
Do you recon it might get worse on the roads by nightfall? i need to pickup my wife from Ipswich town center at 10 pm, i wonder if i should go down there earlier and wait for her.

Anyone care to blow some snow over to ipswich, from errr... any side really, north east west wtv... anything at all ..... 5 minutes of dandruf all day long

Morning all,
While you guys are busy being the pessimist and the optimist....I'm being a realist .....it's just about to start snowing here (small bits in the air) and it's probably not going to stop until tomorrow so let's just wait and see how much we all get, rulers at the ready folks and remember it has to be on a flat surface and drifts don't count.....

What about the temperatures behind that band of snow? I'm getting a bit worried with the meltdown instead.

I hope you're right, but that shower just seems to be lurking off the coast to me.
wont come inland, as they never do bhaaa, need more easterly winds for any chance of that happening!

Roads was bad yesterday in lincs as I skidded in a ditch and overturned in to a 4ft ditch. Was in there 45 mins till Mr Fireman came to rescue me scariest thing ever

All very disappointing if you ask me. First the weekend, then Today and now tonight and I bet I still have to go to work tomorrow! Talk about overhyped.
Its normal, we came from a few weeks of mild weather, if we had at least a week of cold weather before this, we could have loads more snow, better accumulations and no meltdown. Lets hope by the end of this week we a have better cold pool over the country.

It amazes me when I have clients come to me here at home and they say OMG you have got so much snow! where I have come form (few miles away there hardly any) but I guess thats just the geographic lay of the land? or perhaps im just waffling now so ill shut up LOL.
Now i found the snow robber! Haaahh That is why everything coming from the north never reaches Ipswich, you always get it all

Is it just me or all that precipitation falling in Ireland and France right now should have been snow and not rain? Anyway just expecting rain as usual.
Hopefully this winter we can get an easterly to actually dump some snow in suffolk....
