still seeing them!, cant work it out

im very very confused!!, wish there was some one else who could confirm what im seeing!, normaly a lurker but i was so suprised to see these flashes that i had to post.. it looks like a intence lightning storm a long distance away!

yeah alot, and the lighning is still going, distant, cant hear any thunder but its atleast 1 flash every 4 seconds... very strange?????

im seeing alot of distant lightning south east of brighton area... any one else getting this?, no strikes on any of the lightning maps?
