GFS some forecasts yesterday showing up to 10 cm or more from wed through Friday for me. Now showing 1cm thursday only and slightly higher temps too.

Think there maybe some downgraded warnings today. Looks like maybe Thursday now best bet but certainly not the 3 day event they showed yesterday:(

Am I the only person afraid of this weeks promises?! I remember the snow warnings popping up last year only to be faced with a sleet fest!

Why does the met office weather forecast not match their warning? I.e. Derry showing sleet showers.

Im not sure about all this hype. As of yet I haven't seen much evidence to suggest a widespread snow event. Cold yes, but snowy... I'm not so sure.

GFS a bit of a downgrade the eve?? Upgrades ... downgrades I'm sure we'll get it all in the next few days! I'm just keeping everything crossed.

Today it's showing for the 13th Jan, tomorrow it'll have moved to the 14th....etc....just saying!

From what I can see any cold or in particular snowy outcomes always seem to stay at the very end of the outputs and don't seem to be getting any closer!

From a wet and rainy ski resort in the alps..... It's not just at home we don't get the weather we want!

Yep I went ahead and booked a ski trip to Austria thinking a nice magical white Christmas with the kids!!! Looking at the moment Iike I'll not be needing the ski wear more like shorts and t shirts!
