Pile of rubbish here. Just driven from near Omagh to Limavady and nothing but a bit of hail. Don’t see much change throughout the day either.... shame, rubbish winter continues.

Just had neat simultaneous lightning and thunder here and the wind just came through like a train. Crazy!! Just away to check the fences!!

North coast could get lucky! Temp holding firm at around 4degrees here. If only the wind would shift a wee bit more north west then we could all get a chance!!

Still think temps too high over next few days unless you’ve a bit of altitude ( I don’t! ) and surprisingly further east looks good. ( I see Newry with 2 snow symbols for Tue whereas here shows rain throughout)

There’s a good breeze out there this morning!! Thankfully fences still intact... at the moment . Unfortunately only sleet forecast for me tomorrow..., if only the temperatures could be a tiny bit lower.

Omg there is a light snow symbol showing for my location on met office forecast for tonight!! I should’ve taken a screen shot before it disappears!!!!

I see the snow potential has shifted again for the start of next week and I’m sure there’ll be many more shifts before the weekend, some good , some bad! At Least it’s something to watch, but’ll have to try not to get hopes up. Maybe if I go with the met office I’ll not be disappointed.

Looks great, would be lovely even to see a few flakes, but met office not having any of it?! They’re not even forecasting much in the way of wind?

It’s a sad sign of winter when you get excited to see the forecast of a frosty day!! Not much sign of any cold this winter let alone any of the white stuff!!!

Tbh looks like possibly a few hours of wintry showers followed by a few days of rain.... bring on the spring!

Depends on whether we’re going to get meaningful settling white stuff or cold mushiness!! seems undecided still yet...

Just looking at the warnings for tomorrow. Have to travel Strabane, Derry direction. Good to know as long as I don’t venture over the border I’ll be safe! Met Eireann have an amber warning for Donegal but met office only have a yellow warning for NI so as long as I don’t venture into Lifford I should be ok!!

Why is it so quiet in here.? i thought everyone would be buzzing about the possibility of snow tonight.... If you head up to the highest peak of the Sperrins between midnight and one in the morning you MIGHT catch a glimpse of a snowflake!...., and I thought winter was over!

In fairness it does say snow showers mainly affecting Scotland..... not much mention on NI anywhere in the details.

I truly admire you’re optimism and hope If we all take a really deep breath at the same time maybe just maybe we can get it to come a teeny bit further north for you!!
