  1. Looks like a few boom charts in the mod thread this evening .silly season is upon us again!
  2. Hmm.. tricky one that. L reg cars were registered from 1994 but I don't know what time if year. If anyone knows if they were start or end of the year then we may be able to suss out the year. I remember Feb 96 really well. My first year of comprehensive school, started snowing around 10.30 am and didn't STOP all day and all night. School sent us home but the buses couldn't get there til half 3, then we spent the next few days sledging and doing what kids should do in the snow...HAVING FUN!!!
  3. Not knowing you personally but don't feel like you have betrayed her. Houses are just bricks and motor, the memories you made there will stay with you for life. Thats what's important. keep those memories alive by celebrating your mums life whenever you can and if remembering the snowy winters in the 80s helps you do that then I hope for you we see many more in the future to bring keep those memories burning bright.
  4. Fair play its wetter than an otters pocket here at the moment . Hopefully something drier and maybe warmer on the horizon
  5. Make the most of this mornings sunshine..what there is of it..we could all need boats by the end of the weekend ? ?
  6. Ahh well the cold of last week is now a distant memory and the auto reset of windy and wet is re-established. Is there any hint of a one last hurrah before winters out ir should we just get ready for spring???
  7. Came out of the shower and it's snowing....ah well time to panic buy milk and bread
  8. Just throwing this out there...winters over? I'm only joking...would have been nice to have a good snowfall after this cold this week but it appears its not to be...hopefully another opportunity before winters end but in the overall grand scheme of things it pales in comparison at the moment
  9. Have given up looking at the weather apps...bbc going for heavy snow here tomorrow afternoon..met office sunny and dry...never seen anything like it
  10. Yes it appears that the block is quite a hefty one...but I remain optimistic that it will lead to a snowy breakdown at somepoint
  11. Looking forward to this afternoons runs. Could hopefully start to firm things up more for towards the weeks end...then hopefully Tuesday we will start to see a few warnings popping up
  12. Good luck to those in the se of England..we can't grumble we had 2 consecutive Sundays of snow, granted not to the extent they will have today. Hopefully our luck will hold for the end of the week but it will be nice to have a few dry crisp days while we wait
  13. That will do...no further charts this week please...just this on repeat if at all possible. Thanks in advance
