    Still can't get over how bad this new BBC map is. There is more of mainland Europe on the screen than the UK!

    Still some snow hanging around here, no idea how when it feels so much milder. Looks like we have a week or two of rain, maybe the odd interesting storm then a possible cold patch. Spring on hold.

    Heavy rain outside. Not heard this for a while.

    Sat in the pub with a beer, fire and watching it snow heavily was bliss. Puts everyone in a special mood.

    Rain finishing off what's left after the thaw. Got some unexpected snow about 10pm last night which was a nice finish. Bring on some warmth.

    Knew I was right here! Heavy snow here north of Portsmouth all the roads white again.

    Well looks like everyone is leaving but I'm going to hang on another hour and watch this band just reaching the channel. Understand that it's supposed to be rain but with sub 0 temps and -3 dew point. It surely is marginal especially inline and at height.

    Radar burst into life as soon as the blob hit land, not sure why? Maybe the height? I'd say it's looking good for all of us this afternoon.

    Heavy snow now N of Portsmouth.

    Snowing now north of Portsmouth. This blob came out of no where in about 15mis.

    Still snowing heavily here in Petersfield (north of Portsmouth) so if your further north your time should come. We have had nothing all winter up till now so I feel it's well deserved. Hoping it carries on all night and anyone without any yet gets their turn.
