    Evening, still at 7.4 here with DP at 7, so compared to some its almost spring like!!! But does feel chilly, walked along the beach earlier with the dogs and was amazed how its been re - shaped after the high tides.

    Same here up to 19mm of rain for the day, 10 of that in the last hour, interestingly, the intensity has peaked at 57mm/hour, still a long way behind a peak at over 80mm/hour I recorded late July. Winds up now as well, gusting at 22, running at 10 - 15mph. Pressure still going down now at 984mb.

    It must be high tide soon I hope your not right on the coast FBP Fairly near - less than half a mile, High tide is around 10.30 tonight but its a big one - over 7m, had a call from the EA late afternoon to tell us we were on flood alert! Certainly wild out there.

    5.5mm of rain in the last hour here, the pressure has dropped down quickly from 1000 to 990 mb, wind is gusting at 20 MPH. Think it might be a long night!

    All seems very calm here, wind has dropped a little , pressure is fairly stable, temp now just dropping slowly but the sky is looking black now !

    Just had my automatic call from the EA confirming we are on a flood warning - first one in a while, think its as the tides are also high so not a good combo. Temp dropping quite fast now at 12 degrees , wind steady at 5 - 6mph with gusts to 15 - 20 mph.

    Now the rain has started, heavy quick burst now settled to a sedate intensity of 5mm per hour.

    Wind has picked up in the last hour here, gusting at 22mph with a steady 10 - 12 mph blow. No rain yet since 2AM but looks like its about to chuck it down.

    Its getting a bit gusty here on the coast again, just under 20MPH , temp is holing up at 14 and whilst the pressure has dropped a little its steady now at 1019.

    Lovely blue sky and a nice crisp 6 degrees, no frost but we went down to 4.2 overnight!

    Ahhh pressure starting to drop and just recorded strongest gust of the last 24hours......

    Gust's have slowed down in the last hour in Eastbourne, pressure steady now at 1000mb after rising slowly all day.......

    Snow still coming down in Eastbourne, chaos on the roads and no sign of it letting up, will measure it when I next let the dogs out but would guess 3cm drifting to about 8cms.

    Very light dusting of snow here, nothing on the roads, temp -0.1 DP -1.7. Just now falling as light sleet being blown around in the wind, gusting at 16MPH windchill down to - 5!

    Dry in Eastbourne, 2.2 degrees DP at zero. no sign of anything coming out the sky!

    Temp dropping very slowly, 3.1 DP -0.4, grey sky and a light breeze making it feel feezing out!

    Still nice and warm here at 7.7 , dropping very slowly, DP 6.3, still feels like spring in Eastbourne tonight!

    Been a barmy 8 here but temp now dropping quick amazed how little wind there is,not a ripple on the sea!

    Temp falling slowly, 4.4 now DP 3.5 pressure dropping quick as well 995 here now, rain does not like easing up.

    4.8 degrees here, light sleet as I walked the dogs an hour ago, then turned to light rain, no wind......and now snow till next winter now I think!! Roll on warm sunny days lol
