    They have both been wrong at T72 so at T240 they can for sure. ECM not as good as gfs but December is shaping up with interest. Not one great run nor one poor run will determine a month that is t240 away at this point.

    Then looking further on the gefs suggesting that high pressure will build again. All fi but that looks favourite at the moment.

    Yes, it’s not ecm but it’s a move to it for sure. As you said earlier 12z’s might be of interest and it’s been awhile since we’ve said that. Could be a northerly of all northerlies on this run in fi.

    Where are you seeing this HP backing west? Looks like it topples east. Or are you suggesting it moves west initially to allow a north northwest flow before moving east? As per 06z?

    You still need a telescope and a vivid imagination to see the type of cold event most of us would like to see. The best chance of something is around T192 -240 but that looks a bit to far East for most. we keep hunting fi but there’s not much encouraging output tbh at the moment. Ecm shows this to point of taking the………….

    1/2 way house doesn’t cut it tbh. The pv just won’t allow it. We’ll keep looking and hoping but until that changes it’s more hope than expectation.

    A chart to sum up winter. sooooo close but……… surely one of these will land?

    T240 gefs. There’s enough in there to suggest that the high is on the move. Where? Not clear but west looks favourite based on these which if so could bring something in from the north/north west. May take longer than models suggest but change looks likely. Now a change to what is the question.
