  1. Will end up in France like last time, leaving most of the south snowless, the shenanigans of the low for Wed 17th where GFS and maybe others modelling it much too far north, we ended up mild with a whimper, snow lovers should not want the fronts in France
  2. we all know the damn thing will end up in France, to leave many low areas snowless Crewe/Staffs
  3. dave, it was at lichfield bus station, waiting for the no12 to King's Bromley 9-9.25am
  4. chilliest wait ever for the 12 bus today, the 9.25, so unexpected as well, what happened with that frost, hate it in a setup like this with no snow on ground, or due, may as well be 12 degrees, least then I can feel my feet
  5. been mentioning this rain for a few days now, as hasn't been much about it, but for some probably here too it could be worse than a so called storm
  6. to me, always feels colder when it's dry especially with light winds, those wet and windy days feel almost balmy
  7. think I posted a bit ago somewhere in late Jan 20 degrees would be possible, only 0.4 degree off late Jan is under rated as a potential Spring start point, this probably wouldn't happen early Jan, reckon only 15/16
  8. Aye, snow my favourite, then dry and mild, especially as when it's cold like from 14th to 19th Jan, I always seem to get a cold, but not when it's mild cold/frosty without snow isn't that enjoyable as risk of catching a cold is much higher
  9. Always feel January avg temps are a lot warmer in last few days, than the first few days, first few days have still dark/winter feel last few days feel more Spring, or at least Spring on the way
  10. not interested in London Si! dreading the washout here
  11. but not looking forward to this rain event on Monday, expect warnings issued for Midlands area
  12. but keeping an eye on significant rain event on Monday, not mentioned on here at all, doubt it will be named that's why, the named storms sometimes just a fart in the wind! it's the ones that are not mentioned can be worse
  13. not much mention of potential rain event on Monday? could affect my area more than so called storms
  14. Why am I seeing quotes again? better without for I.F, as with quotes the ignore feature doesn't work, it just means you cannot reply to a post
  15. still thinking horrible rain event on Monday, not being mentioned on here, just because it's not named storm, well named storms don't affect everywhere, and days can be worse without a named storm
  16. Was very good, still snow around into April too out of sun, with no actual mild up, just a strong late March sun thaw
  17. Solihull Oliver, warm and wet, cannot understand anyone wanting that, mild/warm and dry is fine with me, if we can't have snow
