Everything posted by I remember Atlantic 252

  1. temp slowly rising here, still light snow falling
  2. 5.8C, mainly dominated by the Atlantic, more so than Dec and Jan
  3. its not like boxing day, then the ppn was very heavy, this time it's not, just patchy, cannot see this being as good as boxing day
  4. lightly snowing but temp going the wrong way, 0.5C now, was 0.2 when snow started
  5. just started snowing here, first few flakes, 0.2C
  6. 2-5, i'll settle for, low ground here really
  7. not me pmsl! useless thing, I'm just looking on here, far better people on here, to take note of
  8. think we all know, you are in prime/sweet spot, because of elevation and further east
  9. cor! cannot think about Spring yet! we've only just started winter, but 2013 for me baby! snowy march cold April with snow
  10. 18 hours of continuous light snow for me! 7pm tonight until midday tomorrow
  11. hopefully signs in GFS FI of the 'cold start to Feb' predicted by netweather, deepest FI and gone on next run, but that northerly on Feb 4th is fierce, a true northerly unlike these pathetic attempts of arctic air this winter so far
  12. have a feeling they are updated at 11am, bbc has snow lingering around all day wednesday but patchy
  13. mostly cloudy night, still got down to -4.2C, cleared for a time, still hopeful for tonight, no warnings from meto? maybe they think its not going to amount to much rain, sleet and hill snow moving east, what they were saying, but Stafford has had all snow on symbol forecast
  14. cannot stand Shef, she seems as bad as dianne oxberry and eno equator on NW thread local weather sucks!
  15. not here, cloud cover still 0.1C, my max was 1.6C after a min of -4.5C the frost didn't seem harsh, not like the good frosts between Xmas and new year,, thickest frost was morning of new years eve
  16. hopefully netweather's forecast is correct for early Feb! wintry start, easterly winds, above avg ppn, south wanna start seeing some good FI charts on GFS soon
  17. FAX charts look like the damn thing dosen't get further east than wales
  18. yeah it is cloudy, holding at 0.1C, maybe a good sign as always less cold here when cloudy, 0.1 cold enough for snow, so hopefully cold enough while cloudy for ppn
  19. seems patchy, all I can see for low levels is just patchy rain and sleet, seems to be mild sectors mixed inm ppn band seems skinny and broken
  20. yeah they are like the frosty of this thread
  21. looks good for snow, Friday night more snow? not thinking that yet, GFS only model to show another slider, temps at 0C 6pm friday before front moves in need other models on board
  22. contradictory to the post above, never looked a snowfest, but always and still does suggest possible lying snow
  23. sleet/rain mine wed, dry tues, light snow 9pm tues
