Aye, the mild fans normally want it as wet and windy as possible, storm naming etc

rain in July and August affects my chest if windows open or outside, must be some allergy, other months fine

Dec '97? and Dec '23

very warm sun beating down on me, around 14.40, whilst waiting for the bus in King's Bromley, certainly a 'summer' feel to things now, but could be down to just 10 degrees by Thurs
-
warm feeling today too, except for Lichfield bus station which felt chilly

because you're in the north west! London/SE nearly always get better weather on average off a high to SE, low to NW setup
-
North facing is hell in evenings in heat! south must be cooler as the air coming in will likely be from the south, and sun goes off rooms around 5pm

mild crew will love heavy rain and gales, eh, snooker champion namesake and fallout game
I prefer it mild and dry/sunny, if not sunny, then I'll settle for cloudy

Come on Spring! arriving next week (south) maybe for holiday week, 14-15 Wed/Thurs
I often think Feb is more early spring

90's for me at least here, may be different elsewhere, loads of very good snow events, much more than 2000+, may not be classed as cold winters in the stats, but were the best for me

think you mean Thunderbolt_, trolled the forum

last 2-3 days on EC look good, but will downgrade to low pressure and wet
-
fallout member and snooker champion won't agree, sorepaw1, I do though ready for warmth now
-
Maybe no mention? Haven't looked at forum properly but don't like what GFS is showing for Monday, 1st day of half term, full on washout on 00 and 06
-
know an 87 year old ten-pin bowler who lives in Biddulph! told him Monday night, you're in for a dumping of snow, always gets miles more than here

still too high for snow, this never looked possible at low levels, for snow, around -3 is needed now before front
-
Joe, yes certainly noticed warmth in sun on 3rd, sure today as well there were summer style cumulus, certainly signs of Spring, still not much improvement in morning light levels, pitch dark still at 6.30am
-
Biddulph will get buried
-
same as mine Matt
-
even up there, I expect a slow thaw during Friday, while we're looking at 9 degrees
-
Holidays early up there, holiday starts on 12th here
