  1. obviously hope GFS top one is right!!!! do not fancy 6° and rain, but do fancy 13° and dry maybe sunny
  2. yes horrid, hate ECM FI, my facebook something came up from a rag I assume, Easter heatwave on the way 19°C temps? I mean wtf?
  3. yes, Feb is usually sunniest month of the year if you get high pressure, Mar onwards convective skies, nuisance though not storms noticed on mr D's timelapse convective skies now with strong March sun
  4. been monitoring GFS for weekend and 12Z is 'orrid And I hope it's wrong!
  5. nasty easterly wind out there, only going to increase from tomorrow, will feel raw with north sea mist, (of course that's for my location only) everyone else in this region sunny/warm, away from Staffs and Shrops
  6. I can never understand that either, how the 'eck can anyone like wind and rain? especially with lower temps, not too bad if it was 12° or higher
  7. I don't mind boring, when we had gales and rain which completely suck, was wishing on anticyclonic gloom! mild and dry is great any time of year but especially March, Frosty right as well, some cloud breaks will appear, I think best of Spring weather far north and far west where sunshine could be unbroken
  8. yeah good charts Frosty! could do with high just a bit further south, for my area (southern areas) but great oop norf
  9. 2006, bbc had too far east, famous snow 'fail' that one, just before I got internet, netweather etc, then I may not have expected any who knows
  10. what makes some named and others not?, cos Wed 9th March affected many areas with gales and flooding, affected here more than all named storms, as did 17th Feb
  11. ugh very foggy, foggiest day of season, don't mind it in Nov, but not now
  12. yes, my 2 worst weather days this year are 17th Feb and 9th March, NOT any of the so called named storms
  13. 2 horrendous days recently here, 17th Feb and 9th March, reminded me a bit of 'child of Nadine'
  14. certainly around 4.3o, clouds changed, lost the horrid NE wind
  15. ECM trended a bit towards GFS, sadly, not as bad, but this still looks raw for Stafford and the rest of the South, warm and sunny oop norf though
  16. this area is dull off easterlies, N sea mist struggles to lift, so yes Staffs and Shrops probably the dullest areas in the UK, in the average Spring setup, high to north low to south, NW areas of UK tend to be the sunniest the average winter setup, low to north, high to south, southern areas brightest, NW areas wettest/dullest
  17. FI, I'll believe this when I see it, was showing at same stage 16C in the south for monday 14th, now we'll be lucky to get 9°
  18. hopefully ECM closer than GFS, dosent look too bad on ECM (south) bright blue skies (north)
  19. UK few hundred miles further west I wish, 20C possible then
