Everything posted by I remember Atlantic 252

  1. sometimes 25° can feel hot, depending on what you're doing/humidity etc, and I'm 122 lbs, 25° generally good temp, 30° gets too much
  2. looks okay though from tomorrow, just hope rain from the east on friday stays away, but at worst 5 dry days on the bounce coming up, not bad
  3. no way, maybe window open tonight, tomorrow I thought looking cooler at least early on, could be much colder start than today
  4. my guess is, that we will have a winter dominated by the Atlantic, hardly a break in the zonality from mid Nov to mid Mar, flooding issues will come up again through the UK, could be in top 10 'wettest winters' on record exciting though for 300m plus asl oop norf, as my 'guess' will be PM shots at times between systems, virtually snowless though for low levels south
  5. you are in a better location, (although low elevation) for snow off a PM airstream in winter
  6. looks good, but for my location it could scream cloud and 12°, as here struggles with sea mist
  7. scorch is on my ignore list, but agree with his recent post quoted by cheese, I don't want PM air at all any time of the year, worst airstream imaginable all year
  8. just like I can warn 4 months of flooding and gales, madden or Atlantic 252, think I know who will be more accurate!
  9. not falling for it this time, trend this summer for nice Tuesdays, but somehow think it won't be, but suppose I am the Atlantic air (sept to mar) believer
  10. interesting maybe in Aberdeen, miserable here though, especially Tues 25th non stop heavy rain
  11. me too Frosty, but ECM just looks more realistic, although Sept 29th hoping too early for Autumn proper
  12. reckon GFS is way off, with high pressure, expecting ECM/UKMO, to be right, with Autumn proper arriving Thursday, hope not though
  13. 4 years ago now, getting ready for 2 and a half days of non stop very heavy rain, horrid, unpleasant
  14. 11.3C, first of the next 5 months to be dominated by the Atlantic, gales and rain
  15. again, been on wrong side of NW/SE split, nice in NW and not 1 second of sun here, even rain early on sigh, same tomorrow as well
  16. Sigh, expecting another east/west split tomorrow, settled skies to the west, unsettled skies to the east, rain here too no doubt
