Sept probably best month, think most agree about horrible June

been bigging up tomorrows washout, think non weather folk may be caught out, they'll just assume it's going to be 'nice' from now until Sept
tomorrow could be wettest day of the year for N of this region
-
good to take my 99 year old Nan out for a 'walk' in King's Bromley!

and this, had enough now or is GFS just wrong
-
razorgrain will love that
-
Josh, the models again and forecasts underestimated the rain again, umpteenth time this year, but rarely other way round, often gets worse heading back west from King's Bromley which was dry, to Rugeley/Stafford to the NW wet
-
definitely to me anyway feels a lot colder than it would with 12 degrees and windy in Dec to Feb, which would be a hairdryer warm wind and likely wet

looking vile on GFS, especially from Mon 22nd, cooler than many days in Jan and Feb

Aye, be warmer in Jan under cloud and rain

could be potentially vile tomorrow in Staffs, Cheshire streamer looks definitely possible
-
Aye, usual April setup not happened, high pressure to our north, May normally same

Chris, at least you will be dry, S Coast probably best place to be off NW'ly, just cumulus infill making it dull, here we're looking at a full washout on Monday, then a mainly wet week

Umpteen times now when forecasting of rain has been miles off, yesterday was meant to be the north and Scotland, but was over this area, today was meant to be a patchy mostly dry warm front, not a washout
-
Aye more like a January feel, tropical with wind and no sun, tomorrow too but wet
-
the switch should be starting soon, meaning on average sunny days are warmer than dull/wet ones apart from nights/early mornings
Nov to March without doubt warmer if wet, but feel from May to Oct cooler when wet over sunny

expected dry day today, forecast was a bit crap, rain from 6-11am
-
North sea mist! first of the season, horrible wind too

I know 3 on forum that will like it, footballer 7 spelled backwards, same name as a former world snooker champion, and something from fallout
-
more chance of warm Easter maybe next year, April 20th

Oliver, we had decent snow very early hours on 3rd Dec, decent event but thawed later same day
-
nothing at Lichfield or King's Bromley, was hoping for sleet/snow or thunder, bugger all

just a feeling we're in for a cool, very wet low pressure summer, wouldn't surprise me if May to Aug period was one of wettest on record, and all 4 months below CET average
-
nobble yes, time of year now where every airmass can feel cold, sure it wouldn't feel this cold off a S/SW'ly in Dec/Jan, at least not at low levels
-
Josh, models do have a tendency to over play settled weather, nearly always turns out more unsettled, short term forecasts for rain have been crap too, a lot wetter generally than predicted
