    Just heard a distant rumble from that stuff in the channel. Heading to the north sea not here though by the looks of it.

    You can keep the rain, had a lovely sunny day till, about two hours ago, it's looked like raining a few times since, but nothing except the occasional big drop or two. Until the shower above, everywhere was soaked in about a minute or less.

    Just had a shower that went from nothing to lot's of big drops in about 0.001 seconds. Lasted about 5 mins. Downburst?

    Rain stopped about an hour ago now, sun coming out, Altocumulus moving NE cumulus moving NW. Storm could be interesting later if they're low based.

    Lots of flashes out to sea, which is perfect for me, no loud thunder. I wonder if it will come over.

    Just got home, got off the bus in one of those white bits on radar, well drenched. Heard thunder in folkestone, so far it has thundered here but I missed it. Looks like plenty more to come though.

    Sun is now out in Ashford so I'm guessing the cloud has now dispersed over most of the SE corner.

    Sun was coming out in Dover when I left, it is out now in Folkestone.

    Same here, I'm quite worried about the road in the valley, everything from here and opposite goes down there.

    Right over Kent, think I've got to move, this will be the third one this year. The other two were not amber warned, so I'm defo expecting flooding in the usual places. Which luckly is not here. At the bottom of the road though.

    That where I would suggest, it's very high up, and you can see right over to france no problem, so if the storm for some reason do not get over, you'll still get a good show. Stay in a car or building though, as you'll be in the cloud if the storm does get here.

    Foggy here again this morning, which basically means, warm moist air and cold sea mixing.
